Welcome to my personal portfolio website! My name is Xiyue Hu, and I am a product designer and UX/UI designer. I graduated from Pratt Institute with a major in industrial design, and I am currently completing my studies at Georgetown University, where I am majoring in visual communication. This site showcases a variety of my works, including product designs, user interfaces, and graphics. PRODUCT DESIGNER
Remote working experience for startup company THE HALL in Shanghai China
Designed 6 merchant’s products for the brand including dice set, ice mold, glass cup, sunglasses, etc.
Led and collaborated with 5 different factories for product development and manufacturing processes
Jul 2020 - Aug 2020
ONSET PRODUCER
Science and Education Channel, Chongqing, China
Collaborated with a team of 8 to travel to 5 locations in Chongqing for documentary shooting.
Secured funding of $20,000 for the team for hotel, food, and other supplies.
Scheduled 42 shootings with locals， including communicating about shooting location, shooting information, and microphone operation.
Collected local government and some induvial income information to understand how their lives have changed since the Chinese government helped to solve the poverty issue for the documentary.

Managed company’s website, including reviewing website layout, updating new company or lawyer information, and checking the daily number of views.
Scheduled total of 20 meetings for assigned law firm partners and lawyers and organized meeting documents.

Design Assistant Intern Jul 2018 – Aug 2018Collaborated with a team of 5 to prepare furniture exhibition, including choosing objects and providing interior organization ideas for the exhibition.
